Celebrating 100 years of God's blessings and grace
We invite you to share in the Lord's Faithfulness. Please join us in celebrating our 100th Anniversary on
July 8th,9th,10th, 2011 at Burdett Christian Reformed Church in Burdett, Alberta.
The 100th Anniversary Committee is enthusiastically planning a celebration that will commemorate the Lord's faithfulness to Burdett CRC's members, both past and present and the surrounding community. We have planned the following itinerary.
**REMINDER THAT BURDETT ROAD IS FLOODED & CLOSED over lake crossing**
Friday, July 8, 2011 - Welcome & Fellowship with Campfires at 7:00 pm
Saturday, July 9, 2011 - Breakfast at 8:00 am
- Coffee & Time to Reconnect
- Church Picnic (buffet lunch at 12:00 pm)
- 1:00 – 3:00 pm Organized Games (youngest to oldest)
- Swat the Bug, water game, piñata
- Blind shooter, egg roll, water balloon head
- blanket volleyball, Frisbee relay, water game
- Adults: blind volleyball
- 3:00 – 5:00 pm Team Games (soccer, baseball, etc.)
- Supper at 5:30 pm
- Evening Program at 7:00 pm
Sunday, July 10, 2011 - Worship Service at 10:00 am
- BBQ Lunch following
All main meals, coffee, and water are being provided by the church. Please bring your own snacks and camping chairs, picnic tables will be set up for eating.
